This is not mentorship. This is discipleship.
Mentorship can be associated with anything. You can be mentored in business, performance arts, or any wide variety of things that relate to your personal or professional goals. But discipleship is different. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commissioned His people to "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations". Today, the word "disciple" exclusively and distinctly carries this meaning, a follower of Jesus Christ.
Discipleship is a major key in building the Kingdom of God. It produces followers of Jesus, not just converts. It teaches them what it means to truly live for Christ and submit to the continuous, lifelong work of the Holy Spirit molding us to become more like Jesus. It encourages and empowers the people of God to stay committed to His mission.
The purpose of this group is not to just give advice or provide nice coaching, it is to create and raise disciples that, filled with the Holy Spirit, will go out into the world and make an impact for Jesus. We are raising warriors equipped for spiritual combat, empowering them to take territory for the Kingdom of God!!!
WHO THIS GROUP IS FOR
GIRLS ON FIRE Discipleship Group provides discipleship for women (ages 18+) who desire to follow and walk with Jesus and fulfill His purpose for their life.
WHEN WE MEET
Our group meets bi-weekly (twice a month) on every other Tuesday night at 7PM CST/8PM EST.

WHAT WE DO
Our meetings are Holy Spirit led. We prioritize the presence of God over just moving through an agenda. Our time together involves a dynamic mix of bible study, sound biblical teachings, worship, discussions, and prayer.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Strong community. You are not alone. We don't just talk the talk, we are walking through life together. We are a family in God and therefore our group fosters real, genuine relationships. We love the Lord and fear Him. We also love His people! Therefore, we are kind and unafraid to speak truth. This community will encourage you to keep going, promoting endurance and building unity in the Spirit.
Accountability. This group will not serve you well in it's purpose if you plan to just hide out in the shadows or fly under the radar. Accountability is essential to growth and helps you hold fast to walking the straight and narrow path that leads to life! Not only do we hold each other accountable to the standards of God as revealed in the Holy Bible, we also hold each other accountable in taking necessary steps to move forward in your purpose/journey with Christ such as following through on convictions from the Holy Spirit.
Spiritual Growth & Transformation. You can't spend hours in the presence of God and come out the same afterward. As long as you stay surrendered to God and what He is doing, you can expect to grow here! Growing includes continuing to spiritually mature. God doesn't want you to stay in the same place year after year, He's calling you higher! You will discover and walk in your identity in Christ. You will receive sound biblical teaching and learn how to apply it to your life. This powerful community provides valuable, life-giving spiritual support that will encourage and empower you to seek the Lord with all your might and follow His plan for your life. At times you will feel stretched, challenged, or pushed out of your comfort zone, but it's all to grow you and provoke you to fight for and step into your destiny!
